2024 Icon Eden Valley Cabernet Shiraz

We have waited a long time for this one, in fact since day one of the partnership between grape grower and winemaker. This Eden Valley blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (66%) and Shiraz (34%), comprising the best barrels in the Cellar from the 2024 vintage and 100% from the Pendee Farm Vineyard. Low yielding vines, hand picked, gently destemmed in half tonne bins, cold soaked and hand plunged for 10 days.  Gently pressed off to new French Oak Hogshead barrels.

Barrels carefully unstacked, sampled, topped and restacked, monthly for twelve months, bottle aged for a further six months.

This was worth the wait.
